Annie has written a lot of music. A lot, a lot. Most of the time what she writes is solo piano pieces of a more minimalist sort. However, she loves exploring new sounds and new instrument combinations. Projects that stretch her mind and abilities are her favourite kind. She has written pieces for string trio, wind quartet, clarinet and piano, cello and piano, as well as one piece for violin, double bass and piano.
Annie’s songwriting could be described as being of a folk nature. As she enjoys listening to a wide variety of music though, she also continues to try and diversify her sound. She also does this because she believes that people don’t want to listen to seven different songs that all sound the same. And neither does she.
