Annie has been teaching since 2014 and over these few years has taught many different sorts of people. There have been young people and not so young people, focused students and students who get distracted very — squirrel! Annie realizes that everyone is a unique snowflake and she really likes snow. She works hard to make sure that her lesson plans are tailored to each different student; challenging enough to hold interest, but not to discourage. She works with the belief that if a student doesn’t like the music they probably won’t practice, so she uses a wide variety of materials. She works hard to make the lessons enjoyable because if you’re not enjoying yourself, then what’s the point?
Music is a really good time, so learning it should be, too.
